Support staff

Swansea Bay UHB is keen to provide for the development of our support staff. The roles currently on offer are Health Care Support Workers, Maternity Care Assistants, and Nursery Nurses.

We are keen to offer MCAs the chance to study qualifications in partnership with colleagues at Swansea University.
You could join the Royal College of Midwives (RCM). The RCM runs courses, conferences, and seminars where you can update your skills and network with others working in the same field.

You could apply for other jobs in the wider healthcare team or if you see your career continuing within Maternity Services you could look at training to become a midwife.
