There will be many prospects for you to develop your skills and knowledge. There is a vast range of opportunities to care for adults, including a range of specialist services across the health board, including:
- Surgical specialities: covering elective and unscheduled areas including burns & plastics, orthopaedic, spinal, maxillofacial surgery, gastroenterology, pancreatic and bariatric
- Theatre: including inpatient and day case
- Cardiac/cardiothoracic
- Emergency department, medical and surgical assessment areas
- Stroke, respiratory, neurology, diabetes, and endocrine wards
- Renal including renal dialysis
- High dependency and intensive care areas: such as burns and cardiac

Currently, there are exciting developments taking place at the Health Board, which include:
- Theatre expansion taking place particularly in our Orthopaedic centre of excellence within our Neath Port Talbot site
- Medical service re-design of our acute AMSR service, at our Singleton and Morriston sites
