Pharmacist (AfC Band 6)

Early career pharmacists are primarily responsible for delivering pharmacy services to nominated wards, dispensary services and in providing advice and support to GP practices and community teams. They review prescriptions and patient records, ensuring access to evidence-based medicine and provide advice and information to patients and healthcare colleagues. A structured learning programme will typically run alongside their early career role, to support them as a newly appointed registrant and offer mentorship to enhance their knowledge and skills further.
