Junior clinical fellow
A Junior Clinical Fellow, also referred to as JCF, is a qualified doctor in a non-training role. Whilst you will have been exposed to cases and can triage before seeking advice, you will be working under the supervision of a more senior colleague who is there to support, guide and advise you.
This is the ideal grade if you have just completed an internship as it will allow you to have an increase in responsibility for your patients and an element of providing supervision for more junior staff, whilst providing you with experience of working weekends and nights.
