Those who are not Welsh speakers should be aware that Welsh medium schools teach only in Welsh. In English medium schools, Welsh language lessons will be on the curriculum, but all teaching will be done in English.

Swansea University

Swansea University is one of the top 25 universities in the UK and is a public research university offering foundation courses, undergraduate degrees and postgraduate programmes in hundreds of subjects, including sciences, healthcare sciences, business and humanities.

University of Wales Trinity Saint David

With three campuses – one each in Carmarthen, Lampeter and Swansea – UWTSD offers a wide range of academic and professional programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It is a high performing university and appears in the UK Top 10 for Student Satisfaction (NSS 2023).

Gower College Swansea

Gower College Swansea is a further education college in Swansea. The college is one of the highest performing colleges in the Wales.

NPTC Group of Colleges

This group of colleges consists of nine sites stretching from South to North Wales, including Neath College, Afan College, Pontardawe College and Swansea Construction Centre.
